Volunteer Roles

Set-Up                                                                                                           Volunteers will assist in setting up the race course.  Specific volunteers will help set-up the swim, bike, and run race courses.  Volunteers are also needed to set-up the vendor Expo, registration table, transition area, and finish line.

Registration                                                                                                  Volunteers are needed to assist our event staff at registration during the Expo. Volunteers will help distribute packets and goodie bags. Some volunteers may also be asked to help check-in bicycles at the transition area.

Parking                                                                                                           Volunteers are needed race morning to direct athletes, volunteers, and spectators to the designated parking areas.

Timing Chip Pick-Up                                                                                     Volunteers will distribute timing chips to athletes on race morning. 

Bike                                                                                                                      Volunteers will help direct racers on the bike route at intersections and turns.

Run                                                                                                                             Volunteers will help direct racers on the run route at intersections and turns.

Transition Area                                                                                           Volunteers will protect athletes' belongings by only allowing athletes to enter the transition area.

Aid Stations                                                                                                  Volunteers will help pass out water and energy drinks to athletes as they continue on the race course.  There are six aid stations on the course. 

Tear Down                                                                                                   Volunteers will help tear down the race course when the race is complete.

Volunteers will receive a goodie bag with a fun t-shirt!
